It was a successful and impressive few days for the IOM Bike Storage backed riders as they raced around the iconic Billown Circuit in the Southern 100 championship.
Tuesday evening saw Paul Cassidy and Don Gilbert finish in P14 and P21 respectively in the Peel Holdings Senior Race. A solid result and a great way to kick of the S100.
Then it was time for the Gorilla Racing boys to step into the spotlight on Wednesday in the 600cc B race with Don leading the way and gaining a fantastic P2 finish after leading the opening laps of the race! Craig Howton also managed a brilliant P10 place and Paul Turner finished in P24 after making up some more places in the final laps. A brilliant result for a newcomer and he had great pace!

Thursday's racing saw the Southern 100 come to end in the best way with IOM Bike Storage's very own Paul Turner winning the Solo Founders race!
A brilliant achievement which took Gorilla Racing and IOM Bike Storage to another podium finish.
Don, Craig and Paul Cassidy also gained some very impressive results on Thursday as the sun was shining down on the Billown Circuit! First up was the 600cc B race with Craig and Paul Turner finishing P12 and P25 respectively, giving them another great result each. Unfortunately luck was not on Don's side on Thursday and he had to retire with a technical issue, but you couldn't deny his pace!
Then it was time for Paul Cassidy to head out, getting solid results in both Supersport races and an impressive P17 finish in the Senior race on the Island Fuels/IOM Bike Storage Yamaha R1.
IOM Bike Storage's first ever Southern 100 was a big success and we're so pleased for all of the riders. Thank you to the Southern 100 for putting on a top draw road race, and all of the Marshalls without whom we wouldn't be able to do what we love. We'll see everyone at the Manx!
